In a moment filled with pride and gratitude, Omniyat Center hosted a special ceremony to celebrate Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Maktoum being named Honorary President of the Center’s senior leadership. This recognition honors her ongoing efforts to empower People of Determination and their families, particularly mothers who serve as the backbone of their children’s journey.
The event also witnessed the official launch of the Global Wish Maker Award, a pioneering initiative to honor individuals and institutions that contribute creatively and meaningfully to improving the lives of People of Determination and fulfilling their dreams, both big and small.
In addition, the cprojects enter unveiled its annual agenda of humanitarian and initiatives, including the launch of “Yarween”, a program that documents the stories, literature, and lived experiences of mothers of People of Determination. This initiative seeks to narrate the deep human side of their journey and transform it into a global source of inspiration.
The event was honored by the presence of Sheikha Dr. Alia Hamid Al Qassimi, Director of the People of Determination Department at the Community Development Authority, who praised the center’s vision and holistic approach, emphasizing that empowering mothers is the first step toward building an inclusive and nurturing environment for People of Determination.
This moment reaffirmed that Omniyat is not just a center, but a growing humanitarian movement—one that believes every wish begins in a mother’s heart, comes to life through community unity, and flourishes under the leadership of those who truly listen to the voice of humanity.
