1- Portage Program for Early Intervention
The Portage Program is an early educational and training program designed for children with special needs or developmental delays, in addition to supporting their families. It was developed in the city of Portage, USA, in the late 1960s.
Program Objectives:
- Accurately assess the child’s developmen
- Provide educational activities in various domains
- Enable the family to actively participate in the child’s education
The program includes the development of motor skills (gross and fine), communication, social skills, self-care, and general knowledge.

2-ABLLS Curriculum for Assessing and Educating Children of Determination
What is the ABLLS Curriculum?
ABLLS (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills) is a comprehensive global system used to assess and teach children of determination, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder or developmental delays.
The curriculum is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a scientifically proven therapeutic approach widely used to monitor a child’s progress, identify gaps in fundamental skills, and develop an individualized educational plan.
Curriculum Contents:
The ABLLS curriculum consists of two main components:
1-The Assessment Tool (ABLLS-R Protocol):
It evaluates more than 500 essential skills across multiple domains, including:
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social and interactive skills
- Play and imagination
- Early academic skills
- Self-care and independence
- Fine and gross motor skills
2-The Teaching Guide (ABLLS-R Guide):
